Two days of heavy rains forecast in the state, districts will be water logged

It has been raining heavily in several districts in the state for the last two days. The meteorological department has again forecast heavy rains. Heavy rains are forecast in the state in the next 48 hours. The meteorological department has also instructed fishermen not to plow the sea due to heavy rains. According to the meteorological department, heavy rains are expected in the state, which means that there will be a universal cloudburst across the state.





According to the forecast, South Gujarat and Saurashtra will receive good rainfall in the state. Besides, Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Kheda will also receive showers. While Valsad, Navsari and Bharuch are forecast to receive moderate to moderate rainfall. In Saurashtra, Surendranagar, Amreli and Morbi will receive normal to moderate rainfall.

Let me tell you that the state has received 38.26 per cent of the season's rainfall so far. But in July last year alone, the average rainfall of the season reached 60 per cent. While in July last year, the average rainfall of the entire state was 222.37 mm or 9 inches. But this year the average rainfall is 195.68 i.e. 8 inches. The three districts of Saurashtra in the state have received more than 100 per cent rainfall on an average. Devbhoomi Dwarka received 155% rainfall, Porbandar 106.91% and Jamnagar 101% during the season. While Kutch has received 84.87% rainfall. While South Gujarat has received only 25% rainfall.
