The government will pay half the salary to the unemployed workers in the Koro crisis, know the terms and conditions

The government has given relief to the unemployed industrial workers in the Koro crisis.  Such employees will be paid an unemployment benefit of up to an estimated 50 per cent of the average salary of their previous three wives.

The decision is expected to benefit 40 lakh workers. The government has decided to relax the rules by giving unemployment benefits of up to 50 per cent of their three-month wages to industrial workers who have lost their jobs in the Koro crisis.
Only workers who have lost or will lose their job between March 24 and December 31, 2020 will get this benefit.

The proposal was tabled at the ESIC meeting and at the meeting of the State Insurance Corporation of Employees (ESIC).  ESIC is an organization under the Ministry of Labor which provides insurance of Rs. 21,00 to employees under the ESI scheme. These are the main conditions. The scheme will only benefit workers who have been associated with ESI for at least the last two years.  This means that only workers who have joined the scheme from April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2020.

During this period, it is necessary to work at least 78 days from October 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020. In this way you will get the benefit. According to the data, ESIC will give the benefit of this scheme to the unemployed workers.

Workers can also apply directly to any branch of ESIC.

After a thorough investigation, the money will go directly to their bank account.  According to the Center for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), about 1.9 million people have lost their jobs due to the Corona virus epidemic.

In July alone, 5 million people lost their jobs.

However, according to the Employees Provident Fund Organization, 4.98 lakh people joined the formal staff in June. Earlier, the PM Kisan Yojana was the largest cash scheme. The largest direct cash scheme so far was the PM Kisan Yojana.

Under this the beneficiary is given six thousand rupees annually.  Yet its scope is large.  This will help eight crore farmers.  According to experts, the scheme has provided relief to 80 million farmers.
