The Narendra Modi government at the Center has launched several schemes to double the income of farmers. One such scheme is the PM Kisan Sanman Nidhi. Under the scheme, the Modi government provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 per annum to farmers across the country in three installments. Under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the government transfers money directly to farmers in their bank accounts. So far, Rs 14,000 crore has been transferred to farmers' bank accounts in seven installments.
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Sanman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan) aims to increase the income of the country's food donors.
However, the government has clearly decided which farmers will get the benefit of this scheme and how the people who are cultivating will not get the benefit of this scheme. According to the official website associated with the PM Kisan Yojana, the scheme will benefit only those farmers who have farm land.
These farmers will not get the benefit of the scheme
This means that if the farm is in the name of your father or grandfather, you will not get the benefit of this scheme till the farm is transferred in your name.

The government made this change in the plan
According to the changes made by the government in the Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, only those farmers who have their own land will now get the benefit. Farmers will have to issue a land mutation certificate at the time of registration.
Registration this way sitting at home
To avail the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, farmers have to register first. You don't have to go anywhere for that. But you can register yourself at home. For this you need to have your farm land mutation certificate, Aadhaar card, mobile number and bank account number. You can register yourself by visiting the official website of PM Kisan Yojana at pmkisan.nic.in.
It may be mentioned that under the PM Kisan Yojana, the Central Government sends a total of Rs 6,000 in three equal installments to the bank accounts of eligible farmers every year.
