 Shiva Gopal Mishra says this will not affect the 7th CPC pay matrix of central employees.  As Central Government employees and pensioners DA, DR has kept the freeze till June 2021. 

 In March 2021, Rajya Sabha Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur said that the DA, DR hike would be resumed from July 1.  But even if the DA surcharge is announced today on January 1, 2021, it will start from July 1, 2021.
