Voter Helpline Application Official election commission Application
VOTER HELPLINE APP :   aking forward its continuous efforts of building an active democratic citizenry in the country, Election Commission of India has undertaken a new initiative by designing a Mobile Application for developing a culture of avid electoral engagement and making informed and ethical ballot decisions among citizens of the country. The app aims to provide a single point of service and information delivery to voters across the country. The app provides following facilities to Indian voters:
Election 2019 LIVE Updates: In the wake of calls given in various quarters for inciting violence, causing disruption during the counting of votes on Thursday, the Ministry of Home Affairs has alerted the state and Union Territories across the country. The Home Ministry has alerted chief secretaries, DGPs of all the states and UTs where counting for Lok Sabha elections will take place tomorrow.
In another development, a day after the Opposition parties approached the Election Commission regarding verification of VVPATs, the poll watchdog met today and rejected their demand. 22 Opposition leaders had drawn attention to reports of what they called suspicious EVM movements thereby demanding verification of VVPAT slips before the counting of votes and not later. The poll body, however, had dismissed the allegation adding that the EVMs were “absolutely safe” in strongrooms.

JAsdan Assembly Election Result Live

72. Jasdan (GEN) is a State Assembly/Vidhan Sabha constituency in the Rajkot district and Saurashtra region of Gujarat and is a part of the Rajkot Parliamentary/Lok Sabha constituency. There are a total of 228468 voters in the constituency, of which 120382 are male, 108086 female and 0 others.

Jasdan constituency recorded a voter turnout of 73.44% in the 2017 Gujarat Assembly Elections and the polling for this seat was held on December 9, 2017 in Phase 1 of the elections.
INC won this seat in the 2012 Gujarat Assembly Elections.


Ahmedabad, Dec 23: The results for the high stakes assembly by-polls in Jasdan in Gujarat will be declared today. The results would put to test the BJP's strategy in the Saurashtra region ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.

A defeat for the BJP could put it on the back foot as it was in this region that the party suffered a major setback in the 2017 assembly elections. The battle is between Kunvarji Bavaliya quit the Congress to join the BJP. He is up against Avsar Nakiya of the Congress.

The Assembly Elections in five states concluded on Friday with polling in Rajasthan and Telangana. As per the India Today-Axis My India exit polls, the Congress could get 104-122 seats in Madhya Pradesh, while the BJP is slightly behind, and could get around 102-120 seats. The Congress was wiped out in the state in the last Assembly elections, but this time there could be some good news for the Rahul Gandhi-led party.
